The hotel offered a great set of rooms with a bonus of 2 rooms in one for added privacy, which was ideal for families with kids. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spotless, and very recently furnished and decorated. The only downside was their location on the side of the hotel away from the bar.

The service was outstanding with a helpful night porter and a high focus on customer satisfaction. The staff were friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude towards their work and guests, ensuring a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel's location was convenient, well-equipped, and comfortable, just 15 minutes away from where we needed to be. Although the reception lacked an overly friendly vibe on arrival, the overall proximity to the ferry terminal was a great plus for an overnight stay.

The dining experience had its downsides, as the breakfast was disappointing with hard poached eggs. Additionally, the breakfast didn't start till 7, which could be improved by offering a self-serve cereal bar, toaster, and coffee machine for early risers.

The hotel room was small and very stuffy, and as it was on the ground floor, I couldn't open the window. However, the staff provided me with two fans which helped alleviate the heat. The room was also very clean, and I enjoyed an excellent value evening meal on two nights.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional, the nicest hotel staff I've encountered in years. They were very accommodating, especially when they knew about a difficult family situation we had. Although there were some plumbing issues and slow service, the staff made amends by giving us a reduction on our bill.
